Hi, I’m dr. Janze.
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience supporting adolescents and young adults through evidence-based therapy. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, and trauma-related challenges.
I view therapy as a collaborative journey and am committed to tailoring each treatment plan to meet the unique needs and goals of every client. My approach integrates mindfulness-based practices with both cognitive-behavioral and emotion-focused approaches. I’ve received specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based interventions.
I integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion into my clinical work by providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care that honors each client’s unique identities and lived experiences. I recognize the impact of systemic inequities on mental health and collaborate with clients to tailor treatment that aligns with their values, strengths, and cultural contexts. I strive to create a safe, affirming, and accessible therapeutic environment for all individuals.
Experience & Training
My clinical experience spans diverse settings, including schools, inpatient and outpatient hospital programs, and community mental health centers, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the mental health care system. Over the course of my career, I have developed specialized expertise in crisis intervention, risk assessment, and delivering integrated support to individuals and families navigating acute emotional distress.
